Our primary mission revolves around providing harm reduction resources and support within the electronic dance music community. We achieve this by setting up booths at EDM concerts, parties, festivals, and similar events. Our dedicated volunteers offer assistance, guidance, and reassurance to individuals in need. Additionally, we collaborate with event promoters to ensure the safety and well-being of attendees.
We operate as a collective of passionate individuals deeply embedded within the local electronic dance music scene. Our endeavors rely entirely on the invaluable contributions of time, resources, and funds from our volunteers, as well as the generosity of donations and support from promoters and sponsors.
We are Ascend Harm Reduction, a local nonprofit dedicated to empowering our community members to prioritize their health and safety. Through our volunteer efforts, we aim to equip individuals with the knowledge and support necessary to make informed decisions regarding their well-being.
Our mission is to reduce the potential harms associated with various activities, including substance use, without judgment or bias. We believe in fostering a supportive environment where individuals feel empowered to take control of their own health outcomes.
By offering accurate information and support, we strive to enable individuals to make safer choices regarding their behaviors and substance use. Our approach is centered on education and compassion, recognizing that every individual's journey is unique.
We do not impose our beliefs or values on others, nor do we advocate for or against specific behaviors. Instead, we offer a non-judgmental space where individuals can access the resources they need to make decisions that align with their personal goals and values.
At Ascend Harm Reduction, we are committed to promoting harm reduction practices and supporting the health and well-being of all members of our community.
